  • The higher quality your basic ingredients are, the better your co*cktail will be.

First we quarter the lime and add it to the glass along with the sugar. Then mix with a pestle and squeeze the juice out of the lime. Now fill with the cachaca and stir well. Then fill the glass with crushed ice and mix everything well with a spoon. The easiest way to do this is to dip the spoon into your glass and cover the opening at the top with the palm of your hand.

  • 4 cl Wodka
  • 2 cl peach liqueur
  • 2 cl lemon juice

Decorate co*cktail glasses beautifully

On the one hand, the contents of our glasses are of course an eye-catcher. But to get a nice overall picture, we should decorate our co*cktail glasses a little. I'll now show you a few ways to put the finishing touches to your summer co*cktail using the simplest means.

  • Sugar rim
Take two flat plates. Fill one with a little lemon juice and the other with sugar. Now take your co*cktail glass and put the opening into the lemon juice. Gently move it back and forth a few times. Then dip the top edge of the glass into the sugar. Now it sticks and just looks really nice. Make sure to use a straw with this variant, because drinking directly from the glass with a sugar rim is not as pleasant and distorts the taste of the co*cktail.
  • Fruits, leaves, flowers
Instead of sugar, you can of course also decorate with a few fruits. Simply take a fruit that matches the co*cktail and cut it slightly so that you can clip it to the edge of the glass. But be careful when cutting; if you cut too deeply, the fruit will no longer stick to the edge of the glass.
Mint leaves or a few pretty, edible flowers can also visually enhance your summer co*cktail.
  • Umbrellas & Co.
If fruits or sugar rims alone are too boring for you and not very summery, you can pimp up your co*cktail even further by, for example, sticking a small umbrella, a small palm tree or something similar into the fruit. This gives you even more of a summer feeling.

In mattersco*cktail decorationthere are no limits to your imagination.

Unusual serving suggestions for summer co*cktails

Normally the co*cktail is traditionally served in a suitable glass and decorated. But why not just try something out of the ordinary? For example, you could hollow out a watermelon and serve your summer co*cktail in it, or in a pineapple. This is guaranteed to make your guests' eyes wide open.

Despite the many delicious recipes, you should always pay attention to using alcohol responsibly. As everywhere else, it's the crowd that makes the difference and no one will say anything against a co*cktail every now and then.
